I’m a technology reporter for Bloomberg, covering Big Tech. Most recently, I worked as a reporter for The New York Times covering online misinformation, and before that I was a senior technology reporter for BuzzFeed News in New York City. I’ve been a reporter for Wired in Silicon Valley, an editor and writer at Popular Mechanics, and I’ve written for The Wirecutter, IEEE Spectrum and Gizmodo. I studied science writing at Columbia University.

In 2019, I won the Livingston Award for international reporting and a Mirror Award in a special category, Journalism in Peril, for my reported feature, “How Duterte Used Facebook To Fuel the Philippine Drug War.”
